Walkthrough

Laden Labs is the public gateway on laden.no, also called LLZ and Lab'z. You open it in the browser. The first screen is the HQ: a live ops line, then the doors.

The forum lists threads you can read: a welcome, a writeup, lab hygiene, an Oslo meetup, merch feedback, and a question about JWT. There is no composer on that page.

The challenge board is 24 labs. You sign in, or you keep a guest nickname in the browser tab. Each lab has a track, a difficulty (easy, medium or hard), points, a short brief and a flag you submit. The tracks in the board are scope, recon, web, crypto, auth, injection, network, cloud and practice. The API behind it is SQLite, and the session is a JWT. The labs are Laden's own, for authorised practice.

The console is LLC, a Kali-style terminal. It opens full screen, on fictional networks, with lmap as the scanner in that fiction. It is not a connection to someone else's machine.

Gear is a demo shop priced in NOK: hoodie, tee, cap, stickers, a joke USB, a mug, a daypack. The cart is marked demo and does not take a real charge. A weekly board offers rotating labs and a small game where you name the tool for a job. The token on that board is LLT, and the page prices it at 1 LLT = 1 NOK. A guest balance stays in the tab unless you create an account.

Caleb is the mentor named on the HQ. On the weekly board the nickname is for him and for the console. He is a guide inside the gateway, not a separate product.

Challenge

We built a public gateway for ethical hackers and bug hunters — a place where learning happens in process, with authorised practice as the premise.

Move

Three surfaces keep the same rhythm: a member forum for writeups and Oslo hangs, a challenge board with 24 JWT and SQLite labs from recon to broken auth, and the Laden Labs Console with fictional networks and lmap.

Stack

LLZ brings a live ops feed, forum, labs and gear into one dark, green surface. Gear uses NOK pricing and a demo cart with no real charge; Caleb stays in the loop as mentor.

Result

LLZ is live as a public gateway: Step on. Hunt ethically. People can practise with authorisation, share writeups, use the console and explore gear in one world — with the demo status clearly marked.
