AV Live beta, by Laden

Browser control room for AV crew — beta by Laden

AV Live is Laden’s control room in the browser: account and av.conf, virtual gear rack with status lamps, A/B surface, routing, cues, media vault and LiveKit screen tracks. The beta demo uses Ryen AV-utleie / Plaza as a sample client — the product is AV Live, by Laden.

AV Live beta is open source — demo by Laden AS at laden.no/demo/avlab/. The finished product will be commercial (paid build + ongoing service).

Challenge

AV crew need the same overview on hotel shows and on the road: what is connected, what is yellow or red, where signal goes, and how cues and screens are driven — without losing the A/B surface when the window shrinks.

Move

We built AV Live beta as Laden’s control room in the browser: virtual rack, halls and external shows, routing, cues, vault and LiveKit. The beta is open source; demo and Docker copy run on laden.no with their own API stack, using Ryen AV / Plaza as the sample client in the demo. The finished product will be commercial — a paid build and ongoing service that keeps it working, same model as other Laden offerings.

Stack

Vite/React web, Node API, Postgres, MinIO (Chainguard), LiveKit and FFmpeg via Docker Compose. Subpath deploy under /demo/avlab/ and /docker/avlab/.

Result

AV Live beta is live at laden.no/demo/avlab/ and as a Docker copy at laden.no/docker/avlab/. The full lab runs with account, rack, shows and API — ready to rehearse before crew goes out. Open beta now; the commercial edition (build + ops) ships as a paid Laden service.
